Classes in Catholic Doctrine & Morality
The Church of Saint Agnes is partnering with the nearby parish of Maternity of Mary to teach a series of classes entitled "Catholic Doctrine and Morality: Classes in the Catholic Faith." While these classes were developed for those seeking entrance to the Catholic Church (RCIA), they are also a unique and rich opportunity for current Catholics to learn more about their Faith.
2017-18 classes will be held on Thursday evenings; December 7, 2017 - April 5, 2018 from 7-8:15 pm in the Brides Room of Saint Agnes Church (see button below). There will be no class on 12/28/17 or 3/29/2018). While the classes are designed for adults, young people are welcome to attend, but they must be at least 13 years old (currently in 8th grade). There is no charge for these classes. They will be taught by the pastors of each parish.
All topics are found in the text, "Compendium: Catechism of the Catholic Church", by the United States Council of Catholic Bishops. A schedule of the classes and topics is found below. Books will be provided to those who register.
Registration for 2017-18 is now closed. Please contact the parish office at 651-925-8800 or email the pastor directly at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Please note that the schedule below includes attendance at certain liturgies for RCIA candidates. Those are not requirements for others who are simply attending to increase their understanding of Catholicism.
